Family Academy: Raising Compassionate Children who Support Equity

At this Family Academy – the first ever lead by members of our Family Equity Team – we will delve into the relationship between compassion, empathy, and equity, exploring how a lack of compassion for oneself and/or others is both one result and cause of institutional injustices. Parents and guardians will leave this workshop inspired to deepen their support of the development of their children’s compassion, empathy, and equitable mindsets, likely picking up a few new tools for this essential component of parenting along the way.
