Advisory is the core of restorative justice practices and building school community.  Students meet for advisory twice a week in groups of fifteen or less. During advisory, advisors work to build students’ social and emotional skills by covering important topics related to adolescent development, equity, and empathy.  Advisories are grounded in the use of community building circles to ensure an equity of voices.  Curriculum is guided by the IB learner profile and the IB Approaches to Learning. These qualities help our students make exceptional contributions to our school community and to become smart communicators, reflectors, and collaborators.
