Graduates from the Boerum Hill School for International Studies take risks and develop innovative solutions that impact the world. Through the use of critical and creative thinking skills, students appreciate different cultures and respect the values and rights of people everywhere. The International Baccalaureate Program is a holistic approach to schooling that focuses on global engagement. Restorative Justice is a philosophy and an approach to discipline that moves away from punishment toward restoring a sense of harmony and well-being for all those affected by a hurtful act.
